Writing –

Hand-in your outline on Freshgrade if you have not done so yet. (Part of the assignment is figuring out how to hand things in on Freshgrade because it is a digital portfolio of your work & a lot of teachers use it.  If you can play mindcraft & xbox & download game….you(not parents) can do this….if you are having trouble Mrs. Elie can help you.  Sometimes online platforms freeze/have glitches, just go back to it later & try again)

Watch: Convincing Edna

Do: Comment in LA Channel.  Should superheroes wear capes? Why or why not? Make sure you use a persuasive strategy to convince Mrs. Elie.(Remember: Persuasive Writing Strategies)

This week we will have a whole class video meeting on Friday at 11:30am.  Looking forward to seeing a big group!

This week our morning meeting schedule will be a bit different for 2 groups as there is no school Monday, May 18th. 

Please take note - Red Group we will meet on Thursday at 10:45 and Blue Group, we will meet on Wednesday at 10:45.

May 14th Shape of Today

Hello Division 1 Parents and Students!

Remember, tomorrow, May 15th is a Pro-D for teachers so there will be no new assignments or activities added to Teams tomorrow.

Please ensure your child has chosen a TOPIC for their Opinion Writing.  More detailed information can be found on Freshgrade or in TEAMS.  I recognize that everyone is doing the best that they can. This particular writing assignment will be very helpful for students going to Middle School next year.
Also, if you are having difficulty attaching documents, come back to it later because it could be that the APP/WEBSITE is just a bit overwhelmed with suddenly having the entire province trying to access it so often.  Remember, the actual links are available in TEAMS in the General Chat for today's post.  Students are getting very good at threading comments so it is not hard to find what you need anymore.
