Tomorrow we will be playing Bingo during our call so make your card today - attached in TEAMS

Students at school on Monday -last day of class for you---take home your reports & see you in TEAMS

Tuesday June 23

Wednesday June 24

students who continued with remote learning only -- report card pick-up 9:00-12 and 12:30-2:00pm -- Mrs. Elie will be in the gym from 9:00-10:30 but there will be other staff members to help you if you can't come at exactly that time.

Thursday, June 25

students who continued with remote learning only - report card pick-up 9:00-12 and 12:30-2:00pm in the gym as per Ms. James's email.

Final Week of Assignments

Hello Division 1 Parents and Students,

June 15-19th is the last week of "assignments" for the 2019-2020 online and in-class classroom.  A schedule of class calls and acitivities was sent on June 14th to every family's email.  We will have our final whole class call at 10:30 on Tuesday June 23rd.

Next week, Mrs. Elie will be posting Summer Learning suggestions.  Usually, the final few days of school are focussed on fun, cleaning and parties.  Ms. James has sent a newsletter indicating times to come to pick-up reports if students will not be attending in-person classes next week.  Although you are welcome to pick up reports at a convenient time on Wednesday and Thursday from 9-12 or 12:30-2, Mrs. Elie will only be in the gym on Wednesday from 9-10:30.  If you come at a different time, there will be a different staff member there to give you the report.

Thank you again for all the flexibility and support during the quick switch to a digital classroom. It certainly was not the way we had planned to end the school year, but I think we made the best of an unprecedented situation.

Hello Division 1 Parents and Students!

We made it to FRIYAY!!!!!

Most of you managed to complete and turn-in your assignments! THANK YOU!!!!

Also really liking all the Rube Goldberg devices on Freshgrade in addition to the reading and writing activities. (missed it? well head over to the Science Channel in TEAMS or Science section of this website & post yours today!)

Did anyone manage to watch the videos & explore Fort Langley?  Have any of you been there in the REAL WORLD?  If you have not, that might be something to consider for the summer as BC tries to find a new normal for special places.

I have 2 challenges for you today.

1. Mrs. Elie wants you to try the featured typing game today - Type Rush in my first attempt I cam second with 41 wpm - can you beat that?  I will be trying to improve my score -- post screen shots of your victory (I was playing the boat race)
2. Take a Virtual Field Trip to the Canadian Farm  - be prepared to share what you saw in our afternoon meeting at 2:00pm today!

Hello Division 1 Parents and Students,

We are at week two of blended learning with online and in-class teaching available for students.

Thank you for your patience as it has sometimes been a bit of a challenge to maintain an online and in-class presence simultaneously.  We have most certainly tested the capacity of the school network & internet. 

Hopefully you have had an opportunity to discuss the Collaborative Goals and Next-Steps with your child.  We will be completing this assignment by Wednesday.  Please email me your responses or post to Freshgrade.
